New Extras Announced | European version

Sunny Bastards Films has finalized their band selection for the additional Extras on the European version of the DVD (April 2010). Namely, VOLXSTURM, BOVVER BOYS, GIMP FIST and URBAN REJECTS... four exceptional punk/Oi bands! This version will also include a full color booklet with quotes from the featured bands.

The latest issue of "Oi! THE PRINT"(#29), an established Austrian zine, features a 3-page article on SKINHEAD CROSS CULTURE. In the article, filmmaker Bryan Davis expresses his personal views on an array of topics associated with skinhead culture and the reasons behind making the documentary. The issue also features THE LAST RESORT on the cover/interview, as well as an interview with THE TEMPLARS (one of the American Oi bands featured in SCC), and includes a great 26-song CD sampler!

Unified Pride Video has officially licensed SKINHEAD CROSS CULTURE to Sunny Bastards Films in Germany for European distribution. This PAL version of the DVD is expected to be released in the opening months of 2010 and will have some unique special features and extras (including German/English subtitles and German Extras with bands like VOLXSTURM and STOMPER 98). The first American documentary about Traditional (Non-Racist) Skinheads. Focuses on the 'cross of cultures' that came together to form the Skinhead identity: The origins of the Skinhead scene in England, its roots in Jamaican Reggae and Ska (mid-'60s) to its revival and global impact with 2 Tone, Punk, Oi, and Hardcore (late '70s to present day). Features interviews and live concert footage by current bands across these various musical genres in the United States, England and Germany; discussing their viewpoints on Skinhead, its Working Class values, and its continuing relevance around the world.
